About

Built slowly, like all good things.

A surf-and-yoga house in Tamraght, run by the people who live here.

Fu Space started in 2022 as a house where friends crashed after surf trips, and never really stopped being that. We added beds, fiber wifi, and a proper breakfast — but the rule stayed the same: everyone eats at the table.

We’re in Tamraght, a village that has been hosting surfers since before it had a paved road. We work with local coaches, local cooks, and the hammam down the street. When you stay here, the village does well too.

What we're about

Small on purpose.

A hostel run like a house. These are the things we won't trade for more beds.

  • Small over scalable

We cap the beds so the breakfast table still fits everyone. You'll know the staff and half the guests by name.

  • Surf comes first

Tides set the schedule. Coaching, meals, even checkout bend around the best window of the day.

  • Actually clean

Spotless dorms, fresh linen, and bathrooms we'd happily use ourselves — the thing reviewers mention most.

  • Local by default

Local coaches, local cooks, the hammam down the street. When you stay here, Tamraght does well too.

The crew

The people who'll remember your name.

A small team of surfers, cooks, and early risers who actually live here.

  • Oussama

    Founder & head coach

Grew up surfing Banana Point. ISA-certified, endlessly patient, first in the water every morning.

  • Amin

    Hostel manager

Runs the place like her own home — knows every tide and every good tagine in town.

  • Mustapha

    Surf coach

Longboard specialist with a gift for getting nervous first-timers to their feet by day two.

  • Luna

    Yoga & wellness

Leads rooftop flows at dawn and dusk, and the breathwork that makes cold sessions bearable.

Good to know

Questions, answered.

  • Is it just for surfers?

Not at all. Plenty of guests come to work remotely, do yoga, or just slow down by the sea. Surfing's optional.

  • Can I work from here?

Yes — fiber wifi throughout, rooftop desks, and a quiet-hours policy that respects the 9-to-5 crowd.

  • Do you host families or older travellers?

We do. Private rooms and the apartment suit couples, families, and anyone who'd rather skip a dorm.

  • How long do people usually stay?

Anywhere from three nights to a few months. Plenty of guests book a week and quietly extend.

  • Is it a party hostel?

Social, not messy. Shared dinners and rooftop nights, but quiet hours from midnight for the dawn crew.

  • Do you run events?

Gnawa nights, full-moon surfs, family dinners, and the odd rooftop screening — check the events calendar.

Say salam.
